Bowy's Automotive is more than a new repair shop. We're building a workplace where great technicians and service professionals can build long-term careers.
We believe customers receive the best experience when they're served by a team that enjoys coming to work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is committed to continuous improvement. That's the culture we're creating from day one.
As we prepare to open our doors in Palmyra, we're looking for motivated professionals who want to help shape the future of Bowy's Automotive. If you value integrity, teamwork, and doing quality work, we'd encourage you to explore our current opportunities.
Lead Automotive Repair Technician
Full-time, in-person, Palmyra, PA
The shop's top technical authority, responsible for advanced diagnostics and complex repairs while mentoring apprentice and entry-level technicians and helping set quality and safety standards from day one. The strongest candidates have extensive hands-on repair experience across multiple vehicle systems (engines, electrical, brakes, suspension), proven leadership or mentoring ability, and required ASE certification along with a State and Emissions Inspection License. At least three years of auto repair experience and a valid driver's license are required.
Auto Repair Shop Store Manager / Service Advisor
Full-time, in-person, Palmyra, PA
A hands-on leadership role overseeing daily shop operations, from greeting customers and writing repair orders to managing technician workflow, budgets, and inventory. This person is also expected to recruit and train team members and eventually help develop another service advisor, with a path to grow into a General Manager role. Ideal candidates bring proven experience in service advising or shop/operations management, strong communication and customer service skills, familiarity with shop management software, and the ability to balance big-picture leadership with day-to-day detail work.
Automotive Technician (Apprentice)
Full-time or Part-time, in-person, Palmyra, PA
An entry-level, growth-focused role for someone early in their automotive career who wants structured, hands-on training. Apprentices assist the lead technician with inspections and basic services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, fluid checks) while learning diagnostics and repair skills. The most important qualifiers are genuine enthusiasm for the trade, basic mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic and reliability, and a willingness to learn and take direction; prior automotive experience is preferred but not extensive, since training is provided. A driver's license is required.
Service Advisor
Full-time, in-person, Palmyra, PA
The primary customer-facing role, responsible for greeting customers, assessing vehicle needs, writing estimates, and coordinating with technicians to ensure timely, high-quality repairs. This role also involves ethical upselling and maintaining accurate service records. Strong candidates have prior experience in an auto repair environment, working knowledge of automotive systems (brakes, suspension, transmissions, alignment, etc.), service-writing and estimating experience, and excellent customer communication skills. About two years of service advisor experience is preferred, and a driver's license is required.
